One hundred twenty-one ZIP codes across the Louisville metro. What people told us, published exactly as they told it, so anyone can check our work and argue with it.
Every number on this page is made up. This is a working demonstration built before the survey opens, so you can see how the findings will be published. The ZIP boundaries and the metro geography are real Census data. The responses are not. Nothing here should be quoted.
Pick a question. The map shows how each of the metro's 121 ZIP areas answered it.
Every question, side by side. This is the view that shows whether two parts of one metro are living in the same city.
What is real here. The map is 121 ZIP Code Tabulation Areas from the Census Bureau, filtered to those at least 35% inside the 12-county Louisville metro. County lines are Census cartographic boundaries. Areas are accurate to within about 2%.
What is not real here. Every response figure, percentage and count. They were generated to demonstrate the format before the survey opens. When real responses come in they replace this wholesale, and this banner comes down.
How to read a ZIP with few responses. Any ZIP with fewer than 50 responses is shown hatched and its numbers withheld, because a handful of people cannot speak for a neighborhood. Counts will be published next to every figure so you can judge for yourself.
